Whats On at Walkabout Sports Bar & Restaurant?

Along with all the main sport on TV, Walkabout Sports Bar & Restaurant hosts a number of events and parties throughout the year.

If you are going to ask the question “Whats On at Walkabout” the answer would be any or all of the following Sport on TV; Major sporting occasions such as the Melbourne Cup, AFL & NRL Grand finals Days, The F.A. Cup and other prestigious International events. We also show regular weekly league games from the AFL and NRL, the UK Premier League & Championship, and the Hyundai A League.

Other events include birthday parties, anniversaries, live music nights and even weddings. Once a month on a Sunday afternoon “Walkabout” also hosts an All Comers Knockout Pool Competition. With cash prizes this is always a popular event and enjoyed by all who attend as well as those who compete (entrance fee applies). Competitors are often locals from the 8 Ball Pool Phuket Friendship League Tuesdays & Thursdays but many visitors join in and although the competition can often be very tough it is always a good laugh.

The pool competitions are great fun but so are the Music nights put on at Walkabout Sports Bar & Restaurant. Often on these nights not only will bar owner, Flob, support the band with his Rock Vocals but also visiting musicians are encouraged to join in the fun and offer their own renditions of favourite songs. All this adds up to a brilliant party atmosphere enjoyed among excellent company.
